Report: LeBron Reveals The Reason Behind The Lakers’ Loss

The Los Angeles Lakers are the most talked about team at the moment. They lost the first game of the regular season to the Portland Trail Blazers, but they are definitely not ready to give up. This is just the beginning. The Lakers’ loss made headlines today, and LeBron James talked about it.

The Lakers did not get off to a hot start. The 128-119 loss should be taken as an encouragement. What does LeBron James think about the Lakers’ loss?

“Um, not as fast as you guys think it’s going to happen. I always kind of compare it to like instant oatmeal. It is not that fast. It takes a while to get to where you can close your eyes and know exactly where your guys are,” LeBron said when asked how much time will the Lakers need to develop their chemistry.

LeBron scored 26 points on 9-of-16 shooting and played a nice game filled with dunks. King James also secured a team-high 12 rebounds and had 6 assists during the game.

The Lakers missed 23 of their 30 attempts from beyond the arc.

“I liked our fight to get back in the game. We were down double digits. I liked the way we competed at times. I liked the way we shared the ball at times, as well. Those were all positives,” LeBron said.

The Lakers got off to a hot start, but were forced to fight back into the game. The team had a 10-4 lead int he first three minutes. But Nik Stauskas had a nice pair of threes in the final 1:17 of the opening quarter. That’s how the Trail Blazers closed the quarter strong.

How will the Lakers play in their second game of the regular season? Let’s wait and find out. It will definitely be huge.
