Tedy Bruschi Makes Major Statement About Tom Brady ‘ Why People Are Sick Of Tom Brady…’

Some NFL fans and talking heads deny the fact that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the greatest player of all times. Others dismiss Aaron Rodgers’ remarks regarding Brady. You cannot just dismiss the five-time Super Bowl champion. What does former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi say about this?

“I don’t know why. Maybe they’re just tired of seeing greatness for so long because that’s what it is. I personally don’t get tired of it, New Englanders don’t get tired of it. It’s because he’s doing something that you just haven’t seen and you didn’t think it was possible,” Tedy Bruschi said during his appearance on WEEI’s Ordway, Merloni and Fauria when asked about Brady’s success.

“Tom Brady is changing the thinking of how you look at a quarterback position, the new age for the quarterback position, the longevity of a quarterback. Realizing that not only if you take care of yourself in terms of the physical aspect of it, the NFL is also telling you, yes we do want good quarterback play and we want you to last as long as you possibly can. So with the game knowing that knowledge and the physical preparation, he’s going to continue to play well but people see that and they want the new kid on the block and it’s just not going to be that way because of the way Tom Brady plays, the way the New England Patriots have their system and how it’s successful in terms of all of those aspects offensively. People just have to get used to it, it’s not going anywhere,” he added.

Many say Aaron Rodgers is better than Brady. We are not trying to make him look bad and he really has a great talent, but his career does not follow the same pattern as Brady’s.

“Aaron Rodgers is a great player. Yes, of course I’ve acknowledged that over and over again. His style, it isn’t as lasting in my opinion. He relies on his athletic ability to get out of the pocket. Which one thing, as you get older, you lose that ability. The next thing you feel like you can get out of trouble and try to extend plays a little bit longer than maybe they should and then you get hit, you get injuries. Guys can get shots on you, you start to feel that a bit more so the traditional way that Tom Brady plays the game is they way the game wants you to play it because once you become that scrambling quarterback, you’re more vulnerable to defenders. Brady keeps himself out of those dangerous situations and Rodgers is in them multiple times a game,” Tedy Bruschi said.
