Tom Brady Reacts To Week 6 Win Over Chiefs

The New England Patriots had an excellent 43-40 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, and fans were thrilled seeing their favorite team move to 4-2 on the season. quarterback Tom Brady lead a game-winning drive that was crowned by Stephen Gostkowski and his 28-yard field goal as time expired.

Brady took to his Instagram account to congratulate his teammates on the big win, encouraging them to win the next contest. The quarterback even poked fun at himself for ordering tight end Rob Gronkowski to stand up. NBC microphones caught him yelling, and it was hilarious.

“Great win against a great team. 5-2, that’s the goal. Chicago next. Going to need everybody. Gronk, you can line up however you want if you keep stiff arming people like that. Let’s go! My kids are sleeping,” Brady said in the video.

The Patriots were dominant in the first halftime, and had a 24-9 lead. Yes, they were really confident about the second halftime, but the Chiefs tried to gain control over their opponents.

“Well, that was a great job by our players and coaching staff tonight, just battling for 60 minutes. We talked about it all week. We really hadn’t played a close game this year. We expected it to be that way and it certainly was. Kansas City is a good football team. Andy [Reid] does a great job, as he always does. They were tough to handle, but in the end we were able to just do a little bit more, do enough, and again just really proud of the way we competed tonight all the way through from the opening kickoff to the final kick was just great effort. We had a good week where we really worked hard during the week to prepare for them. Again, they’re tough to prepare for but I thought we went out there and played hard, played for 60 minutes. I think we deserved it,” head coach Bill Belichick said of the game.
