Remember how everyone was talking about the tension between Patriots owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick? Well, we have some good news for you. The New England Patriots beat up the Miami Dolphins, and it was Kraft’s 300th win as owner of the team.
The Patriots brilliant win at Gillette Stadium is a milestone for Robert Kraft. This is his 300th win as a lead man of the team. Kraft is actually the fastest NFL owner to reach this milestone. It took him 432 games since stepping on the main position in the team.
Head coach Bill Belichick held a postgame speech to the Patriots, and used the opportunity to acknowledge the milestone by presenting the team’s owner with the game ball.
Robert Kraft had a brief speech, and said something that will trigger an avalanche of comments. “I hope we’re all together for 400,” the owner said as quarterback Tom Brady looked on in the background.
Kraft thanked the head coach for the shout-out, and Belichick hugged his boss. Have you ever seen him do anything similar?
“You earned it, man. 300 of them. You earned it,” Belichick told the owner.
Winning is a good thing, don’t you agree?
Let’s not forget that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was also in the Patriots locker room for the big celebration. He was probably a guest of Kraft.
The Patriots broke their losing tradition. It was time for the players to start doing their job. The team is built of strong players, but their last few games were terrible. The Pats lost the game to the Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions. Their game was sloppy, and several players had to leave the game as they suffered an injury.
Things were quite different this time. The Patriots showed everyone that they’re a Super Bowl team.
