Watch: Bill Belichick Show Love For Patriots’ Special Teams In Postgame Speech

The New England Patriots stood strong to the challenge last Sunday and found a way to defeat the Chicago Bears. Head coach Bill Belichick is really happy about the win, and he is even happier about the kicking game. In a recent video, we can see Belichick showing some love for his special teams.

The Patriots scored two touchdowns on special teams. Fans will never forget the 95-yard kick return from

Cordarrelle Patterson and the 29-yard scoop-and-score Kyle Van Noy had on Dont’a Hightower’s blocked punt. The 38-31 win was brilliant, and despite all the troubles they had, the Pats won their fourth game this season. The Patriots literally owned the game at Soldier Field.

Belichick addressed his guys in the locker room after the grand victory and took some time to acknowledge the third phase. “Good to get 14 points in the kicking game. That’s the way to step it up,” Belichick said.

The head coach really likes the way special teams work on the field, and it sure does not come as a surprise that he cheered on the two great plays. Team owner Robert Kraft and team president Jonathan Kraft congratulated Van Noy. Patterson and special teams coordinator Joe Judge celebrated, too.

The head coach did not let emotions flood the locker room, and turned the attention towards the next contest. The Patriots are challenging the Buffalo Bills for their Week 8 matchup, meaning they will not have too many days off before the next big game.

The Patriots got back on track after the couple of losses that destroyed their confidence. The team was struggling with too many injuries, and that does not stop the players from dreaming for a better game next time. Although their are winning games, the Patriots will still need more time to work on their mistakes.
