WATCH: Julian Edelman Scores Game First 9-Yard Touchdown

Julian Edelman is a brilliant player, and he confirmed that with his first touchdown in the game against the Chicago Bears.

The teams had 11:00 to play in the first quarter of the Patriots’ Week 7 contest against the Bears in Chicago, and Julian Edelman was able to score early in the game as he managed to haul in a pass from quarterback Tom Brady and barreled into the end zone. This was a great score for his team, and the Patriots went up 7-0. This was the wide out’s second catch of the drive, and he totaled 18 yards with this score.

The Patriots look really strong in the game, and their first drive is amazing. They did 75 yards on eight pays and reached the end zone in four minutes. That’s more than impressive.

Edelman hit pay dirt, and the drive was highlightened by the New England Patriots backfield as Sony Michel and James White were able to total 57 yards in total as they rushed in for the score. Michel did most of the damage on the field rushing for 24 yards, and White was able to catch his long target for 14 yards.

Rob Gronkowski is sidelined for this contest due to his back injury, but the Patriots offense is firing on all cyllinders. When asked about the offense finally being able to find its footing, Brady said he believes there is still enough room for the players to grow.

“I think we’re getting there and we’re working on it. I certainly think that every week that goes by, we’re going to try to keep making improvements and get better. A lot of different players we’ve tried to incorporate this year and I think we’re working our way through it. I don’t think we’re there yet. I know I said after last game we still have some work to do and we still feel like our best is ahead of us,” Brady said.
