LeBron James made a huge step forward this offseason. He left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second time in his professional career, and decided to join the Los Angeles Lakers. This is the move he needed for his awesome portfolio, and the king of basketball will have his debut with the Lakers. Fans were there to support him, and wish him a warm welcome.

Many would agree that LeBron’s first departure made him a hated athlete. Fans disapproved his decision, and even hated the way he announced his decision. LeBron joined the Miami Heat, and came back in Cleveland four years later. The king of basketball learned his lesson, helped the team win a championship and then went to Los Angeles. He’s having his debut with the team.

LeBron moved to a more glamorous team, and we all know that the Lakers are one of the most disliked team in the league. He left a team that relied on his skills, and joined a team that had dozens of star athletes before him. LeBron has already faced the anger of Kobe Bryant’s fans. They destroyed his murals in Los Angeles.

However, the first time LeBron took the floor wearing a Lakers uniform, fans welcomed him with an ovation.

Controversies tend to follow the king of basketball, but LeBron is the only hope the Lakers have for the seasons that follow. The Los Angeles Lakers are missing playoffs, and it’s about time to break the tradition. Things didn’t look too bright for the team. Jeanie Buss and Magic Johnson knew that they have to do something. They landed LeBron James. He’s one of the greatest players to ever walk on Earth.
