Watch: LeBron James Discusses His First Triple-Double As Laker

LeBron James won his first games as a Laker, and fans were super thrilled bout his first couple of wins. The king of basketball got the opportunity to show everyone that he was the right person to join the Lakers, and even Kobe Bryant was thrilled by his game.

The future Hall-of-Fame forward had a great role in the big win over the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night. LeBron James posted his very first triple-double wearing a Lakers uniform. He finished with 82 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.

LeBron talked to media members after the big win at the Staples Center and his first triple-double.

“It’s my first home win as a Laker, my first triple-double as a Laker… Any time you’re able to do good things individually that results in wins, that’s what’s important to me. When it results in a win,” he said.

NBA legend Kobe Bryant was in the building, and he watched LeBron do magic. Bryant was impressed with the king’s game, and expressed his opinion regarding his clean play.

“It’s f*cking awesome. Being here in this building. Seeing the fans, seeing the energy back in the place, it’s awesome,” Bryant said.

LeBron competed against Kobe Bryant for many years, and he really appreciates his effort to come to Los Angeles and watch him play. LeBron also appreciates the opportunity to wear the same uniform that his rival wore for many years.

“Of course. Noticed him sitting right there on the baseline over there, one of the all-time Laker greats. What he’s done for this franchise in the 20-plus years he was here speaks wonders. For me to be able to compete against him all those years. For me to be able to share a jersey, the same jersey as him at this point, I think it’s pretty special,” LeBron said of Kobe.
