Watch: LeBron James Opens Up About First Lakers Game

The Los Angeles Lakers are slowly getting back on track, and they had LeBron James in the preseason opener. It was a great turnaround for the team, despite their loss to the Denver Nuggets. This was LeBron first Lakers game, and it was amazing.

LeBron’s impression of his first Lakers game is more than amazing. He felt good on the floor, and did a really good job in his 15 minutes of play.

“It was great to get back on the floor and start a new journey for myself,” LeBron said after the team’s 124-107 loss to the Nuggets.

Brandon Ingram had 13 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals in the first half. He finished with 16 points on 7-for-14 shooting. LeBron had 9 points, 3 assists and 3 rebounds.

“I find rhythm with anybody who’s very energetic offensively, and that’s a guy who moves without the ball,” LeBron said of Ingram.

JaVale McGee scored 17 points for 8-for-10 shooting. He opened the game with a dunk off a lob from Rajon Rondo.
LeBron played more than 15 minutes, but felt great. Kyle Kuzma started in his position in the third quarter.

“It always feels different for me anytime you change uniforms. It felt different when I changed from a St. Vincent-St. Mary jersey to a Cavs jersey, from a Cavs jersey to a Heat jersey, back to a Cavs jersey and now being a Laker. So, it definitely feels different, and it’ll take a little bit of time getting used to,” LeBron said of his new team.

The Los Angeles Lakers have a lot more to work on. They may have LeBron James on the team, but players have to work in synergy and build a stronger game. They have to improve every aspect of the game, and LeBron will give them a hand in this one.
