Watch: Steve Kerr Explains Why He Love LeBron On The Lakers

The NBA changed a lot in the last few decades, but some things does not seem to be changing at all. The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers are always on the top of the NBA ratings. Golden State Warriors head coach Steve

Kerr said that he witnessed the Lakers rising, and according to him, LeBron James’ role in the Lakers is a great thing.
Steve Kerr said he had great time watching Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and James Worthy grow up. The Warriors head coach also liked seeing Kobe Bryant do his magic as a great fan of the game.

“For me, rolling up in purple and gold there is an extra sentiment for me. It doesn’t mean I cheer for them but that was my team growing up. They have always had a lot of star power. When I was watching it was Magic [Johnson], Kareem [Abdul-Jabbar], [James] Worthy, and obviously there have been many others – Kobe [Bryant]. I think it is great for the league to see LeBron in a Lakers uniform,” Kerr said.

The Warriors head coach also gave an injury update on DeMarcus Cousins. “He is doing a lot more stuff on his own and in the training room and weight room. After practice he is doing bits on court like two-on-two and three-on-three to try and get his wind back. It is tough enough for anybody to come back from a nine of 10 month injury, especially a big guy who carries a lot of size and a lot of weigh. It is tough to get back the conditioning and the movement. Hopefully we will get him more involved in practices as he continues to work his way back,” Kerr added.

The Lakers and Warriors game is one of the more fun matchups in the regular season.
