Lakers Expected Starting Lineup Vs. Blazers

The Los Angeles Lakers won their third game in the regular season, and already feel relieved. The team lost too many games, and they cannot just keep losing games. That’s not how a great team rolls, and many say that the problem lies within the starting lineup.

The Lakers changed 8 players through the starting lineup, and sometimes it worked. However, they are doing something wrong. The team is currently sporting a 3-5 record, and is about to face the Portland Trail Blazers for a rematch.

The Blazers defeated LeBron James and his teammates in the very first game of his time with the Lakers. The Lakers are on their way to win this game, but winning at the Moda Center is a real challenge.

The good thing is that the Lakers have an idea of which players they will use. The Lakers were hit with two suspensions after Brandon Ingram and Rajon Rondo got into a brawl with Chris Paul. The Lakers have made a choice regarding the five players they are going to use to open the game.

These five will sure stick to their positions until the Lakers find something better.

Rajon Rondo entered the season as a starter, and was suspended after two games. Lonzo Ball player really well while the veteran was out, so he is probably staying. Ball did a good job during the game with the Dallas Mavericks, and that’s exactly what Lakers head coach Luke Walton needs at the moment.

Brandon Ingram hit the court right after returning from his suspension. “I’m not coming off the bench. I don’t know the lineup, but I know I’ll be in it,” he said.

LeBron James and JaVale McGee are the only players that have sealed their position in the starting lineup. The team counts on their help for the following games.

Kyle Kuzma played well during Brandon Ingram’s suspension, and scored from every point of the court. Walton put Ingram, Kuzma and James on the court at the same time, and he may stick to that again.
