NBA News: LeBron James Will Ask For THIS Lakers Star To Be Traded On Special Condition

Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd confirmed that LeBron James may demand that the Los Angeles Lakers trade Brandon Ingram.

The Lakers did not have the best start of the regular season. They have been winning and losing games, and LeBron James does not really approve the current situation.

Head coach Luke Walton had a meeting with Magic Johnson to discuss the way his players develop, but the Lakers are at 4-6 and lost the game to the Toronto Raptors 121-107.

LeBron was added along with Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee. The veterans inked a one-year deal with the team, and LeBron will stick around for quite some time.

King James was amazed with the way Brandon Ingram plays, but the rumors of his trade are suggesting that the Lakers are ready to release him.

The 2016 No. 2 pick had hard time playing at some points of the season, and averaged 15.5 points per game.

Cowherd is convinced that the Los Angeles Lakers will trade a player before February’s deadline. He is also convinced that LeBron will ask for Ingram to be released in case he keeps playing this way.

“Somebody’s getting traded at the deadline. And my takeaway is: 15 more Brandon Ingram disappearing acts and I think LeBron goes to them and says, ‘He isn’t the guy!’” Cowherd said.

“One thing LeBron likes is a little dog. He didn’t want to play with Andrew Wiggins, he had no interest. LeBron can live with your flaws but if you don’t have a little dog in you, LeBron’s out,” he said.

NBA insider Chris Broussard said, ”When you watch LeBron, does he look a little disengaged at times? Mentally he’s saying it takes time, let me be patient.”

“However, he is disgusted by bad basketball, just instinctively. He’s not trying to be but when you don’t know where you’re supposed to be, when the spacing is terrible, when there’s missed assignments, it just eats him up instinctively. That’s what you see out there.”

The Lakers will play again on Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
