Report: Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt Calls Out Patriots

The New England Patriots broke their losing streak, and now they are stronger than ever. They have been NFL’s dominant force for eighteen years, and have confronted 10 of the 15 teams in the AFC in the playoffs at some point. The Patriots had six different opponents in their Super Bowl battles, and yes, they have taken half of the teams in the postseason with quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick tracing their pathway. The Patriots are literally fed up with contenders saying how they are ready to take on Brady and the rest of the guys. Kareem Hunt was the last to make such statement.

NFL Network’s Deion Sanders talked to Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt about the rematch with New England.

“It’s going to be a heck of a game. I know they ready. Just know we coming ready. I wish we could have that game right now,” Hunt said. As you can see, he treated this potential rematch as an inevitability.

Mike Tomlin told Tony Dungy that he expected to play the New England Patriots twice, referring to the regular season and the AFC Championship Game. Tomlin and his teammates were obsessed with the Patriots, but lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship Game. The Steelers did not even got the chance to confront the Patriots.

You would never hear a Patriots saying something like this. New England is never obsessed with other teams and games. They are only focusing on the opponent ahead of them, and now they are getting ready for the Tennessee Titans.

The Patriots will not travel to Kansas City for another few months, and they may not even go for a rematch.
Brady and his teammates defeated the Chiefs in Week 6. The Chiefs defeated the Pats last year on opening game, but they did not have Patrick Mahomes at the matchup.
