Report: LeBron James Given Bold Boost After Lakers Unveil New Signing

LeBron James arrived in Los Angeles with the only goal to help the team become contenders and enjoy some real basketball. However, things did not work as well as he expected. The Lakers are at 4-6 in the regular season, and LeBron came under fire.

The four time MVP came with huge expectations after his departure from Cleveland this summer, but he did not get what he wanted. Simple as that. Well, things not always go the way you expect them to.

The Los Angeles Lakers brought in Tyson Chandler to add some boost to their attack. The player was also interested in playing with the Lakers, and said ‘no’ to four other teams. The Lakers released a short video in which they showed the Chandler’s signature while sporting the No 5 shirt.

“Even with me in the league, it’s always a conflict of interest when I come into town — and a lot of my family don’t choose my team.”

Chandler’s credentials are not put under questions, and he should mix well with LeBron James and Rajon Rondo.
LeBron was excited about the team’s decision to add an experienced pro. “I love the fact that we’re going to get another veteran. A guy who plays hard, and a guy who’s very smart, and another championship to add to the champions that we have. That adds depth in our frontcourt, which we’ve had trouble with at times.”

Chandler played with LeBron in the 2012 United States Olympic team, and had a wonderful career. He was the NBA champion, Defensive Player of the Year, Third Team All-NBA, Olympic gold medalist, NBA all-star and First Team All-Defensive in the period between 2011 and 2013.

There is a huge possibility that Chandler even makes his debut against the Minnesota Timberwolves. That would be more than awesome.
