Julian Edelman Broke His Silence On Facing Malcolm Butler

We have seen so many rivals sharing the field this season, and most of them enjoyed their game against the New England Patriots. We saw Danny Amendola and Brandon Bolden with the Miami Dolphins, Matt Patricia with the Detroit Lions, and now we are excited to see Malcolm Butler, Dion Lewis, Logan Ryan and a couple of Titans. What does Julian Edelman think about this?

Julian Edelman is focused on Ryan and Burler, and this game will sure be both fun and weird.

It brings a little fun into it. I haven’t seen it in awhile. The last time was probably Darrelle Revis when he went back to New York. It’s going to be kind of funny. I haven’t seen them in a Titans uniform,” Edelman said Wednesday.

“There were battles going against those guys. Guys that — Logan’s a real instinctive football player that is fundamentally sound. If you mess up with Logan, he’s going to run the route for you. That’s the kind of player he is. He’s a very cerebral-type guy that studies everyone, works hard. And the same can be said with Malc. These guys, they’re good football players, really good football players. They showed it here, and they’re showing it now. You can’t mess up with them,” he added.

Malcolm Butler is one of the very few Titans who make headlines leading up this contest. He had a controversial ending to his Patriots career as he was benched for the Super Bowl LII. This decision is still covered in mystery. Butler hit free agency after the game, and signed a five-year contract worth $61 million. However, he does not play as an elite player he is being paid as. Pro Football Focus says that Butler allowed 39 catches of the regular season for 618 yards and seven touchdowns, and that’s not something you brag about.
