Report: Julian Edelman Leaves Week 10 Loss With Injury

The New England Patriots lost their battle against the Tennessee Titans. The 34-10 loss was terrible, and the Patriots have more problems to think about. Julian Edelman is one of their greatest concerns at the moment. With just eight minutes to play in the fourth quarter, the receiver left the game due to an ankle injury.

Media members did not notice any limp as Edelman walked to the locker room. New England is now heading into its bye week, and the receiver will have enough time to recover.

The receiver was one of the lone bright starts for the Patriots’ offense in this contest. He caught nine of his twelve targets for 104 yards. This is the second game in three weeks where Julian Edelman was able to go over 100 yards receiving.

“Yeah, absolutely. I mean, Julian’s been such a great player for our team. I think his mental and physical toughness are just unmatched in a lot of ways. I have so much confidence in him. He really does all the dirty work for us, you know? He’s so scrappy and goes in there and blocks hard, catches balls over the middle,” quarterback Tom Brady said when asked if he is impressed how the receiver bounced back from his injury.

“We put him in a lot of different positions and he always seems to come through for us. Battling what he’s really had to battle and come back from is impressive in itself. There’s a lot of guys that go through those injuries and don’t come back the same and Julian, to me, looks the same as he’s always looked.”

Patriots fans can feel Edelman’s presence on the field. However, he will need some help from the rest of the guys. This game was terrible, and New England better stop making mistakes of this kind.
