Car Used By LeBron James As High School Senior Going To Auction (Photos)

LeBron James is one of the greatest names in the world of sports, and he sure rocks basketball courts in Los Angeles. Everyone is so interested in LeBron’s development over the years, and NBA fans follow every step he makes. This time we have the car he used as a high school senior, and it is going to auction.

This is the info that made headlines these days. The 2003 Hummer H2 is up for auction by Goldin Auctions, and the gorgeous car will be sold on Dec. 8.

According to Goldin Auctions president Ken Goldin, the car is “definitely a six-figure piece.” We bet it is. We all know who LeBron James is. Everyone wants a piece of his private life, and this auction thing only proves that he is a brilliant athlete. I mean, you do not always get your personal items sold to fans. You have to be as good as LeBron James to enjoy such an honor.

The Hummer was subjected to an investigation by Ohio basketball officials. It showed that LeBron’s mother, Gloria, actually took out a $50,000 loan to pay for it. King James got the car for his 18th birthday. This was proven through documentation, and officials cleared any questions related to LeBron’s eligibility.

LeBron’s car was bought in 2013, and we do not have any info about the price. It was displayed at the Greater Cleveland Auction, and now it will be sold. The Kelley Blue Book value of the car is $18,000. LeBron added custom sound system and TVs, so the price will definitely go up. Oh, yes, and let’s not forget that King James owned it. That should add a bit to the original price. A bit.

Last month, Walter Payton’s 1979 Porsche reached a price of $324,500. What’s your bet on LeBron’s Hummer?
