NBA Media Reacts To The Lakers Win Over The Heat

The Los Angeles Lakers did not have much luck this season, but things did not go that bad either. The team won four consecutive games prior to Saturday, but lost the game to the Orlando Magic. Sunday was a better day, and the team defeated the Miami Heat.

South Beach was on fire, and LeBron James had his show. LeBron finished the game with 51 points on 19-of-31 shooting, and had eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. The Lakers superstar connected on six of the eight attempts from beyond the arc in the game, and the 113-97 win was definitely a pleasant surprise for Lakers fans. The Miami Heat lost the game, and the NBA media reacted to it.

The Lakers shot 44.2 percent from the field. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a good performance off the bench. He scored 19 points and managed to connect on three of his five attempts from long-range.

Every expert talked about the game, and the main focus was on LeBron James. Well, they did so with a very good reason. Caldwell-Pope also had a good game against the Heat. He finished the matchup with 19 points and had success in three of his five attempts from beyod the arc.

“LeBron had 28 pts on 11-for-15 shooting in 19 mins in the 1st half in Miami. LAL leads 67-52 heading into the break. Caldwell-Pope with 15 pts off the bench, which already accounts for a season high,” Dave McMenamin tweeted.

Everyone went crazy for LeBron’s dunking skill. We saw his slam dunks, and it was definitely a show we could not miss.

“It’s the 63rd career 40-point game for LeBron, whose 5th triple tonight gave him 42 … on 23 shots. He has LAL up 92-71,” Mike Trudell wrote.

The Lakers got back on track, and they better keep this pace.
