Tom Brady Names The NFL Player He Fears Confronting The Most

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady faced serious defensive opponents in the past years. He managed to confront most of them, but some were just better than him. Well, Brady and the Patriots won five Super Bowls, and had to run over some of the strongest defenses. If you ask NFL experts, everyone would agree that Brady is the ultimate quarterback. However, even the TB12 has his kryptonite.

The quarterback had an interview with Jim Gray, and talked about his battle against Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis. He is the defensive player Brady fears the most.

“There’s been a lot of them. You know what the problem with those d-linemen is? They’re all faster than me, because I’m pretty damn slow. But the one guy that I wouldn’t want chasing me down would probably be Ray Lewis, because he played with a vengeance,” Brady said.

“When he got to me, he wanted to make sure he knew that he got to me, and he usually cleaned my clock pretty good. So he’s the one who would probably be in my nightmares.”

We really understand that Lewis is one of the very few players that the Patriots quarterback feared the most. Many quarterbacks would agree with Brady on this one.

Lewis had a brilliant 17-year career in the league. Pretty much everyone would say that he is the all-time great in his spot, and definitely the best player in his team’s history. Lewis is a 13-time Pro Bowler, a two-time Super Bowl champion, and recorded over 2,000 tackles, 41.5 sacks and 31 interceptions in his professional career.
Lewis was selected the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the very first year of eligibility this year.

Brady will probably confront a couple of other strong defenses before retiring. However, he will not confront other player like Lewis.
