Young Tom Brady Won School Award For Acting In Huge Iconic Role

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is successful in so many aspects, and he has won many awards. But, do you know that some of these were actually acting awards?

Brady is a five-time Super Bowl champion and has a couple of NFL MVP awards right next to his name. The quarterback is also a 13-time Pro Bowl selection. However, he was also awesome in acting.

During his interview on WEEI, Brady talked about the award he got in his grade school time. No, it was not related to football.

“When I was in eighth grade, I was in school play and I won the award for best drama student in the school. I always enjoyed the performances and just remembering lines and getting on stage. It’s kind of like it was for ‘Saturday Night Live’ in a way. It’s very similar to football. You put the prep in, you practice everything, you go through it and you’re working with the team, and you’ve got one chance to perform. All that energy and emotion … you try to build your emotional, mental, physical energy for and you put it out and you do it in a live performance. You try not to mistakes, but you’ll never be perfect. So I just think there’s a lot of correlation; I have a lot of appreciation for those types of things,” Brady said.

The Patriots quarterback mastered one specific role, and it brought him the award. He was the Cowardly Lion from “The Wizard of Oz.” Well, he is far from a cowardly lion on the field.

Brady is the reason New England won so many awards. He has been of great help for the team, and the entire team is based on his talents. The Patriots would not be this great if it was not for their quarterback star.
