Lane Johnson Praises Tom Brady While Receiving Another Shot At ‘Patriot Way’

The New England Patriots are one of the most successful teams in the NFL, and they have dominated the league in the past two decades. The team appeared in eight Super Bowls and won five. There is no messing around with the “Patriots Way.” Lane Johnson is the most outspoken critic of this mantra.

The Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman called New England a “fear-based organization” after his team’s Super Bowl LII win over the Patriots. Lane Johnson kept taking shots at the Patriots ever since.

We are 11 weeks into the regular season, and the Eagles have already admitted that it is really hard to repeat as Super Bowl champions. They are 4-6 in the season.

Johnson sat for an interview with ESPN’s Tim McManus, and talked about the Eagles’ slow start and the possibility that he changes his tune about the Patriots’ approach.

“Not really. I mean, I’m having fun playing. I’ve been in losing situations before. Everyone is going to come around and make sure to try and rub it in my face. I’ve had worse stuff than a quote come back to my face with these suspensions.”

He went on talking about the TB12 and his impact on the game.

“I don’t think it’s a ‘We’re,’ I think it’s a Number 12. That’s what I think, personally. I don’t know how everything is going to tie up after he retires, but I think he is a big reason for the success up there, that’s what I think. “I think Number 12 is probably the best player that has ever played. You get that unique individual like that, you add a supporting cast around but you’ve seen people come and go throughout the years and one thing has remained constant throughout the whole equation,” Johnson added.

Keep up the good job, Brady!
