Report: Lakers Star LeBron James Demanded Trade Move

We all knew that LeBron James will take the lead in the Los Angeles Lakers. He knows the game, and it was more than clear that his word will be listened. Now we know that King James had a key role in the trade of one particular player.

LeBron said he told the Lakers to sign JaVale McGee after challenging him in the NBA Finals. So, McGee came to Los Angeles the day after the king arrived.

McGee’s time on the basketball court was limited after the addition of Tyson Chandler, but he has a great contribution to the team.

The veteran played in 17 games this season, and has started as many contests as he did last year during his time with the Warriors.

In the past four seasons, the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers contested the NBA Finals in every occasion.

McGee won a championship ring in the last couple of seasons. LeBron admitted that he is “dying” to play alongside McGee after all the games he played against him.

“I played against him in the last two NBA Finals and I wanted him on this team because I know what he brings. It’s his energy, his energy level, his ability at the rim and his ability to protect the rim. If you don’t have that on your team, you’re not going to have much, man. You need to have people with a high IQ, which he’s got. That’s why I wanted JaVale to be part of this,” LeBron said.

McGee is also amazed by the opportunity to play alongside the king. He really enjoys his game. “We’re having a blast. And when we start figuring out, you’re going to see a team that’s having so much fun,” McGee said.

So, yes, these two sure play well together.
