Rob Gronkowski Reveals His Status For Week 12 Game Vs. Jets

Tight end Rob Gronkowski is not going to let his ankle and back injury stop him from hitting the field in Week 12.
Gronkowski missed three of the Patriots last four contests due to his injuries. He is ready to come back now, and he confirmed that during his Friday press conference.

Yeah, definitely ready to get back there. I’m good to go and excited to be back out there with the team, excited to get back out there on Sundays and play some ball,” Gronk said and he is ruled as questionable for the Week 12 game.

The tight end treated his ankle and back injury for most of the season. When reporters asked what helped him return to the field, Gronkowski said, “Just working hard, working with all the people around me. I had a lot of good people to work hard with, do exercises, get everything back right and just keep on grinding every day so I can get back out there with my teammates, and that’s what it will be on Sunday.”

Gronk was dealing with back spasms, but he is “not worried at all.”

“I feel good. I’m ready to go. Sunday afternoon in New York, it’s going to be a hostile environment. It always is. They’re a good team. They play hard. I mean, I can’t recall a game where I would say they haven’t played hard in my nine years playing them. So it’ll be a good one. It’ll be a tough one, but it’ll be a good one again,” the tight end said.

This season was not good for Gronk. He played in seven games and was able to catch 29 passes for 448 yards and a lone touchdown. If he stays healthy, he will be able to express his dominance on the field.
