Injury Update: Tom Brady Admits He’s Nursing Couple Of Things

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady still contributes on the field despite the fact that he was added to the Patriots’ injury report recently.

The quarterback was ruled questionable for New England’s Week 12 game with the New York Jets. He played in the game, and helped the team win the game. Let’s not forget that he suffered a thumb injury in the first half.
Brady went on Westwood One Radio, and talked to Jim Gray about his health condition.

“I am certainly doing better this week. We had the game against Tennessee where I got a little nicked up and then had the bye week and was hoping to have a full week of practice and it just didn’t allow for it. I think a lot of NFL players are nursing things at this point. I am nursing a couple little things and I am feeling a lot better. A little flu is going around, but I am feeling better and hopefully I really turn a corner with my knee this week,” Brady said.

Suffering an injury is not an uncommon thing. Most NFL players deal with at least one throughout their seasons.

Brady suffered a hand injury last season and still led the team to the AFC Championship Game win over the Jaguars.

Patriots fans believe that the quarterback is going to get over whatever bothers him, including his ailments. Fans expect him to play at high level, and we have every reason to share the same opinion. Brady has given his best to bring the Patriots this far, and he is not going anywhere at this moment. He promised to play until 45, but we cannot really say that that will happen. Everything is possible in the league. Players come and go. But, not Brady. It seems like he will play forever. That’s what NFL experts say.
