Jalen Rose Gave Bold Prediction About The Lakers Roster

This former player turned NBA analyst for ESPN says that the group will have a lot different before King James, Rob Pelinka and Magic Johnson are satisfied with the way the Lakers roster is constructed. ESPN NBA analyst Jalen Rose believes that LeBron James will encourage the front office to fix the roster.

Jalen Rose may be right. There is a huge possibility that LeBron makes the front office blow up the current roster. Well, if you take a closer look, you will see that it is made up of veterans and young players. The veterans are landed for a year, and the young players are still trying to work their way through the rookie contracts.

It would be interesting to watch the Lakers front office work on the roster and release some of the players who do not fit LeBron’s vision of the team. If you ask Rose, he will say that Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram do not really have a chance to stick around. His bets are on the former Villanova Wildcats standout Josh Hart. This comes as a surprise because LeBron really likes Brandon Ingram. He even said that Ingram is his favorite player.

The Lakers will have tons of opportunities to prove Rose wrong. They will have to work really hard and prove their worth to Magic Johnson and Pelinka. The trade deadline is set in February 2019, and the guys have just enough time to convince everybody that their talent is important for the Lakers’ future. Let’s see if they manage to convince LeBron James. He recognizes real talent, right? Good luck with that!
