Jets Head Coach Makes Major Statement About Tom Brady Before Game Vs. Patriots

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski give Jets head coach Todd Bowles a terrible nightmare every time they hit the field together. Bowles knows that it will be hard to challenge the Patriots on Sunday when Brady comes to town.

Bowles is facing the Patriots for the seventh time in his professional career. He has a 1-5 record against the New England. Brady and Gronkowski have a great way of handling the Jets defense, and the Jets head coach is well aware of the fact that the Patriots have great talent despite the fact that they were plagued by injuries this season.

“It’ll be as strong as ever until he retires,” Bowles said of the TB12’s arm talent.

However, Brady is 41, and he will not stick around for too long. His numbers have regressed, and Brady averages 274.8 yards per game. That’s lower than last season. Brady has 17 passing touchdowns and seven interceptions.
But, one thing stands for sure. Bowles will not take Brady lightly, and he knows that the quarterback plays great against his team.

Rob Gronkowski may be injured, but he is a tough cover. The Jets cannot really handle him. That’s exactly what happened last season in the only contest the tight end played against New York. Gronk had six catches for 83 yards and a couple of touchdowns. The tight end did not have great season so far, but he is not ready to give up on the game. Gronk missed three games from the team’s last four games, and he had just two decent outings. This season, Gronk has 29 receptions for 448 yards and a lone touchdown.

“He’ll be a game-breaking talent until he retires. That’s the only time you don’t have to worry about him,” Bowles said of Gronk. He will have to find a way to put him under control.
