Julian Edelman Crosses Milestone In Patriots Win Vs. Jets

The New England Patriots were supposed to win the game over the New York Jets in a quick and simple way.

However, the Jets had something else on their mind. Well, the Patriots often lose their games to weaker teams, especially if you have extra free time. But, something else happened today. The Jets tried really hard, and the Patriots sort of struggled on the field. They are still trying to get over the loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Luckily, the Patriots managed to get everything in order in the second half. They won 27-13, and this score fits the prediction of almost all NFL experts. This was not the prettiest win, but the Patriots are standing at the right spot at the moment. They are 8-3 in the season, and have awesome chance of securing a high seed in the AFC playoffs.

Receiver Julian Edelman was able to top 5,000 yards for his professional career. Edelman had an excellent play in this game, and he really earned all the yards.

Quarterback Tom Brady is also making history. He just passed Peyton Manning in career passing yards.

The Patriots rely on McCourty, Chung, Harmon and Melifonwu. The team is trying to incorporate Obi Melifonwu, and it actually works for New England.

“Julian Edelman’s 36-yard catch-and-run reception, on Patriots’ opening drive, is his longest this season,” Mike Reiss tweeted. The Patriots expect much more from their receiver, but he is of great help for the squad.

The New York Jets play their Week 12 game with a backup quarterback. Josh McCown entered the contest for Sam Darnold. However, he cut his finger on the first series. The Jets cannot lose another passer.

“Between Roberts whiffing on a TFL and Wise committing a roughing the passer penalty on third down, the Patriots’ defense is giving the Jets lots of extra opportunities,” Ben Volin tweeted.

Mistakes cannot be ignored.
