Report: Green Challenged Durant On Free Agency In Exchange

There is a huge hurricane making its way to the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors had their second loss in the past three games after their overtime defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday. This was just enough to stir the pots in the Bay Arena, and the Warriors are getting ready for a… war. The Warriors still had chance to win the game at the end of the fourth quarter. Draymond Green turned the ball over and his team lost the chance to win the game.

Draymond Green confronted Kevin Durant about the possession at the end of the game. The whole thing was caught on camera, and this confrontation is making headlines.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that Green probably crossed the red line by mentioning Durant’s free agency after the comments on his bad turnover.

“Sources: In midst of verbal exchange on court late in Monday’s game, Draymond Green challenged Kevin Durant about Durant’s impending free agency. As teammates came at Green about his turnover, he responded. This has been a simmering issue for the Warriors today.”

Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc J. Spears reported that things got really heated in the locker room. Teammates confronted Green for his awful decision-making on the final play of regulation. Many said this was one of the most intense confrontations of the Golden State area.

“Story with @MarcJSpearsESPN and me: Late game exchange between Kevin Durant/Draymond Green carried into locker room Monday night, w/ teammates loudly confronting Green for decision-making on final play of regulation. Scene described as one of most intense of this G-State era,” Wojnarowski tweeted.

If the whole thing is true, this is really unnecessary from Green. Yes, it is more than obvious that there were emotions everywhere, and not everyone likes to be called out. But, Green did a terrible thing to bring up Durant’s impending free agency.
