Report: Rob Gronkowski Makes Trip With Patriots To Nashville

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski travels with his guys down to Nashville, and this can be actually a good thing.

Kevin Duffy of the Boston Herald and Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network confirmed that Rob Gronkowski was expected to hit the field against the Tennessee Titans. There is still a good chance that this happens, and seeing Gronk make his way to Nashville is a good sign.

Reiss noted that Gronk is not expected to play, but he also said that nothing is official until head coach Bill Belichick says so. Gronkowski was ruled questionable and was limited in practice throughout the week. The tight end recovers from his back and ankle injury, and missed the previous three contests of his team. Yes, it is hard to believe that Gronk was not on the field when the Patriots defeated the Green Bay Packers.

The tight end spoke to media members in front of his locker, and talked about his status against the Titans. Well, maybe we should say that he did not reveal anything. “It’s up to the coaches. A coaches decision,” Gronk said on Friday.

There is a great chance that the Patriots rest Gronk for quite some time. If he does not play on Sunday, Gronkowski will have almost a month to recover quickly. He should be ready right in time for the Week 12 game against the New York Jets.

“I can’t wait when I am back, whenever it is, to be back out there and give it all to my teammates, to the coaches and give it all I have because they have been great and it always is great working with them,” Gronk said on Friday.

“It’s been more challenging, but it’s just little obstacles in the way. It’s life. You have to take them on. That is what I am doing and I just got to get back to where I need to be and be myself when I get back. It will all be good, just have to take it on and work harder,” the tight end said of his season.
