Report: Tom Brady Traveling With New England Patriots

Patriots fans could not accept the idea that quarterback Tom Brady was ruled questionable for Sunday’s contest against the New York Jets. Brady injured his knee while trying to catch a pass from receiver Julian Edelman, and was added to the injury report for the first time this season.

Tom Brady was listed questionable due to his disease, too. However, fans can take a deep breath now as the quarterback traveled with the team on Saturday.

“Tom Brady (knee, illness) is traveling with the Patriots today to New Jersey, per source. The long, grueling, national nightmare is over,” Jeff Howe of the Athletic tweeted.

Brady may be listed as questionable, but his status was never in doubt. Brady was limited on Wednesday and Thursday due to his knee issue. He also missed Friday’s session and cancelled his press conference. That’s when the team first mentioned Brady’s illness.

The New England Patriots will also play with tight end Rob Gronkowski on Sunday. Gronk missed the last three games, and now he is “good to go.”

“I feel good. I’m ready to go. Sunday afternoon in New York, it’s going to be a hostile environment. It always is. They’re a good team. They play hard. I mean, I can’t recall a game where I would say they haven’t played hard in my nine years playing them. So it’ll be a good one. It’ll be a tough one, but it’ll be a good one again,” Gronk said.

“Just working hard, working with all the people around me. I had a lot of good people to work hard with, do exercises, get everything back right and just keep on grinding every day so I can get back out there with my teammates, and that’s what it will be on Sunday,” he said of his improvement.
