Tom Brady’s Wife Gisele, Reveals The Shocking Reason She Left Victoria’s Secret

Gisele Bündchen is one of the greatest supermodels of all times. She was the highest-paid model at the time, and her fans still remember her greatest moments as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Gisele became an angel in 1999, and had an awesome career.

Gisele walked the runway for so many years, and she had to go at some point. She gives her reasons to leave the Victoria’s Secret.

“For the first five years, I felt comfortable modeling in lingerie, but as time went on, I felt less and less at ease being photographed walking the runway wearing just a bikini or a thong. Give me a tail, a cape, wings — please, anything to cover me up a little!” Gisele explains in her new book, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life.

It was more than clear that she wanted something different.

“I crumpled up two small pieces of paper one that said yes and one that said no and placed them inside an empty teacup. I closed my eyes and set an intention: whatever piece of paper I chose would be for my highest and best self and be the right decision,” the supermodel explains. Gisele left Victoria’s Secret Angels in 2007.

“No was the answer I unconsciously wanted to hear. It was also the answer my body wanted to hear and, I believe, had been trying to tell me for days.”

The Brazilian supermodel mom retired in 2015, and walked the catwalk for the last time at Sao Paulo Fashion Week.

“I don’t see how to continue (modeling on the catwalk) … and stopping will leave room for other projects I have for myself. Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop. I respect my body, it’s a privilege to be able to stop,” Gisele said.

She continued to do fashion campaigns and also models for brands. Her book is a ‘must have’ at the moment.
