Watch: Gronkowski Hauls In 34-Yard Insane Touchdown Vs. Jets

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski returned to the field in a big way. Is there any better way to start the game than hailing in a touchdown.

On a 3rd & 12 from the New York Jets 34-yard line, quarterback Tom Brady dropped back to pass and had a perfectly launched ball to Gronkowski in the midfield just on the beginning of the end zone. The tight end hammered it in the extra bit. This is Gronk’s first catch since coming back to the field this afternoon after missing three of the Patriots previous four games due to his ankle and back injuries. So, this touchdown was the best way for Gronk to reintroduce himself.

Gronk had a bad year due to his health condition. However, the tight end said he feels great during the press conference on Friday. He had enough time to rest, relax and recover from his injuries.

“Yeah, definitely ready to get back there. I’m good to go and excited to be back out there with the team, excited to get back out there on Sundays and play some ball,” Gronk said.

“Just working hard, working with all the people around me. I had a lot of good people to work hard with, do exercises, get everything back right and just keep on grinding every day so I can get back out there with my teammates,” the tight end said when reporters asked what helped him return to the big field.

Let’s hope that Gronkowski will keep at this pace as the Patriots really missed him. Quarterback Tom Brady needs Gronk on the field and we believe he is more than thrilled to play with his favorite tight end again. How will this game develop? Let’s wait and find out. It will be thrilling and exciting. The Pats are playing, right?
