Why Tom Brady Would Pick Mark Wahlberg To Play Him In A Movie

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the ultimate football player in his era, and we do believe that someone will decide to chronicle his life. If you ask Brady, he will go with Mark Wahlberg.”

“I’m going with Mark Wahlberg,” the quarterback told Jim Gray during his Q&A session with callers.

We can already guess the reasons Brady had to choose Wahlberg. The actor was born in Boston and is a great fan of new England. Wahlberg is also friends with Tom Brady. The actor portrayed former Eagles receiver Vince Papale, so he has experience in that field. “A Boston legend from Dorchester, one of just ‘grind it out’ kind of guys.”

Wahlberg may have trouble portraying Brady, but that move will sure sell out pretty much every New England theater within a month.

Brady was also asked about the things that made him a leader of the team.

“One of the great characteristics that I believe is probably the utmost priority for any leader in something that is pretty simple: It’s really caring deeply about what you’re doing and the people you’re doing it with. I think if people know that you care about them, you’re doing them such a great service because it’s a hard thing to find in this world. When you have teams that come together; the strongest teams I’ve been on are teams that care about one another, that care about aspects of their life, and ultimately they care about the team and the team goals,” Brady said.

“I think great leaders displaying just caring to the people they work with, to the people they’re playing for, for the game that they’re playing, or for the business they’re leading. I think that’s just one of the strongest traits that a great leader has: Caring with a purpose for the people that really are allowing the leader and the people to lead. And not just about themselves, certainly. It’s never about the individual.”
