Lakers Star Singles Out ONE Team-mate For Special Praise After NBA Suns Win

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Phoenix Suns, and LeBron James talked about the teammate that impressed him the most.

LeBron scored 22 points in his 31 points on the field, and contributed to the team’s 120-96 win last night. But, even the king gets outshone by other players once in a while. Kyle Kuzma scored 23 points during his 29 minutes on the floor.

The Los Angeles Lakers managed to overturn a ten-point deficit at the very end of the opening quarter, and head coach Luke Walton recorded the third straight win which placed the Lakers sixth in the Western Conference. Now the king talked how Kyle Kuzma became an irreplaceable player for the Lakers.

“I think he is not allowing anybody just to put a cap on him just saying that he needs to score. He wants to be more than that! He’s been continually getting better and better. Not just offensively but defensively too,” LeBron said when reporters asked him about Kuzma’s impact.

“He’s just playing all round solid basketball. He has an ability to make plays. We know how well he can score, but he wants to make more of an impact not just individually but also for the team. He’s playing great ball.”

LeBron also talked how he forged a close relationship after arriving in Los Angeles from the Cavaliers. “Our relationship started as soon as I signed. He was the first guy to call me off the team. He was very excited, and then our relationship grew from there,” he said.

King James may be excited about his growing relationship with Kyle Kuzma, but we are definitely excited about the success his team has so far in the season. The Lakers fixed the mistake they made at the beginning of the season in the best way possible.
