Great Kevin Durant Claim Made About Possible Warriors To Lakers Switch

Can you imagine seeing Kevin Durant and LeBron James playing on the same team? These two can do miracles.
But, this does not mean that the Golden State Warriors will lose their power. That’s what Chris Broussard says.

The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the teams that are trying to convince Durant to opt out of his deal with the Warriors and his free agency.

Durant won two championships with the Warriors. He is also linked to the LA Clippers and the New York Knicks. Durant would bring huge boost to both teams. But, moving to Los Angeles and playing with LeBron James brings the whole thing to a completely different level.

Fox Sports analyst Broussard does not believe that Durant’s move to Los Angeles could affect the Warriors’ dominance in the league. They won three of their four championships. Broussard warned that the Los Angeles Lakers will not get another title unless they add another star.

“Kobe’s reaching. This is not a championship team. All that talk about the patience with the young guys, that’s hogwash. This is not the team. They can be good, but they can’t be a championship team. We know the formula for LeBron to win a championship. It’s to have a second superstar who can go get his own stuff. Kyrie and Dwayne Wade and some role-playing shooters around him. So, if Kevin Durant goes there, it should be a wrap. I don’t think Golden State is done if Durant leaves and that’s the interesting thing.”

“I think they’ll be incredibly motivated, if Durant leaves, to get back to show that 73-win team. You know they feel they should have won two consecutive rings before Durant. That team did not win 73 just because they had superior talent. It was their chemistry, the way they played, their shooting ability, their strength in numbers, depth, all that. I don’t think they would be done. If Durant goes to the Lakers I think he and LeBron would be unbeatable. If he goes somewhere else, let’s say he goes to the Clippers, I think the Clippers, the Lakers and the Warriors – there would be several elite teams that can win it. Unless the Lakers get that second guy, they’re not winning a championship.”
