Tom Brady Sends Clear Message To Patriots After Dolphins Loss
The New England Patriots lost another game to the Miami Dolphins, and quarterback Tom Brady has a message for his guys.
“Not much, not much,” Tom Brady said when asked how much he slept after the loss in Miami. That was a tough one for us to fly home on. I don’t think anyone slept well on Sunday. Losing to them is always tough and losing to them in Miami, which hasn’t been our most favorable place to play, we felt like we had a great opportunity down there and there were a handful of plays that really cost us the game. There’s certainly a lot of things we can do better. We can learn from it. I always think you can learn from losing honestly more than you can learn from winning.” Is he angry at Bill Belichick?
Well, the head coach was criticized for his bad call. Some just cannot understand that he decided to put tight end Rob Gronkowski on the field.
“I think he always takes accountability when we lose. He wishes things he could have done better. There’s things I wish I could have done better. It’s not one play. You can obviously point to one play at end of the game, which was a play that was a statistical anomaly. It’s incredibly hard to pull off. We practice those plays, too. It’s just hard to ultimately score the touchdown. There’s a lot more than that one play. There’s another 59 and a half minutes that go into the game that we’re all apart of. Everyone loves to point at one play, one player, this, that, but the reality is that football is the ultimate team sport and we as a team have always tried to rebound from really tough losses. This was a tough one. We had another pretty tough one last year that we rebounded from and we’ll see if we can do that again this week,” Brady said.
