Just In: Patriots Release Finaly Injury Report Vs. Steelers

Patriots’ list have zero players on final injury report for Week 15.

After appearing on Wednesday and Thursday’s injury report as full participants, both tight end Dwayne Allen (knee) and cornerback Stephon Gilmore (ankle) have been taken off the report entirely as New England didn’t list anyone on their practice report on Friday. This is by far the healthiest the Patriots have been all season, which means everyone will be at Bill Belichick’s display on Sunday when they travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers.

While it’s great to have everyone healthy and accounted for, there now comes the tough task of ruling seven players out as a healthy scratch for Sunday.

“It’s the same every week,” Belichick said Friday when asked about making the inactives decision with a healthy roster. “Whatever the options are, they are. Sometimes it’s clear cut, but usually there’s some degree of decision making and we just try to do what we feel like is best for that particular game. It’s better that way than the other way.”

As it relates to the Steelers, running back James Conner did make his return to practice on a limited basis Friday and is officially questionable for Week 15. He’s still reeling from a sprained ankle that held him out last week against the Raiders. While his status has been in doubt throughout the week, Belichick did relay that they’ve been preparing for him (and all Pittsburgh players) until the team rules them out.

“We prepare for everybody on the active roster until they’re ruled out,” he said. “They can play whoever they want to play and they could play one person and then the next play something could happen and his replacement could be in there. Just like [Josh] Dobbs was last week for [Ben] Roethlisberger, so we have to prepare for everybody.

“We have to be ready for anybody that’s on the active roster that they put into the game. We can eliminate the guys an hour-and-a-half before the game that are inactive and then we have to be ready for the rest of them. Yeah, we know everybody on the roster, what they can do and what their role has been. If it’s different, we adjust to it. But yeah, we go through every guy.”

Here’s Pittsburgh final injury report for Week 15:

RB James Conner (ankle) – Questionable

WR Ryan Switzer (ankle) – Questionable
