Julian Edelman Makes Bold Statement About Patriots Offense

The New England Patriots lost the contest to the Miami Dolphins. But, this loss was actually good for the team. Now they will get the chance to fix all the damage and work on their mistakes. The Patriots offense struggled a lot, and things could have taken a different turn if the offense played tighter.

After scoring 38 points four games in a row, New England averaged 23.4 points per game in the last five contests, including the 10-point disappointment in the game against the Tennessee Titans. The Patriots offense did not have the best game this season. The first halves in wins against the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings were based on slow starts. It may be painful, but the loss to the Dolphins actually put the offense squad back on track.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman believes that his teammates will have to improve, as reported by Ryan Hannable.

“I mean, you’re always trying to improve. You can always be better, but the more and more we play together each week you’re building on your foundation. I wouldn’t say we are where we want to be, but we’re trusting in the process of going out and working hard each day in practice and trying to improve to see where that brings us,” Edelman said.

He went on talking thatthe team needs to build on the previous week.

“Every game whether it is a win, loss, you’re always self-scouting and things that you do well you try and put that in your memory bank and you try and sharpen those. And things you don’t do too well, you try and work on the next week of practice to make it better. I would say we’re in that category,” he said.

New England has three more games to work things out.
