Anthony Davis Shock Lakers Trade Development, LeBron James Demand And More

We have read so much about Anthony Davis, the Lakers and LeBron James. They have been part of almost every trade rumor.

Anthony Davis is turning down the contract extension, and that puts the Los Angeles Lakers on red alert. That’s what ESPN’s Zach Lowe things. He believes that the New Orleans Pelicans did not do much to keep him.

The Pelicans can offer Davis a five-year contract extension and $235 million. However, Davis is more interested in an NBA championship than money.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics have been linked to Davis lately due to the assets they have for him.

Lowe believes that one of these teams will land the All-Star and he is more than convinced that Davis will turn down the money.

“This is the ultimate test of the supermax. This is what it was made for. This is why the owners wanted to put it in, to give a small-market team such a leg up that a player this good could not say no. I would predict right now, if you were to ask me right now, I would predict that he turns it down.”

LeBron James is trying to win with his team, and the Lakers are already ready to add Brandon Ingram to a trade deal and get another superstar. That’s what Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus believes. He talked to several NBA execs, and one of them said that Ingram will probably be traded. Reports suggest that the Lakers are not willing to trade their young stars. But, Bleacher Report reports that Ingram may be the first player to be traded.

“The Lakers are in win-now mode. Everything is on the table to appease LeBron. They’re going to make moves to bring in vets who fit around James I think they wait until the summer to look into a big move involving a player like Ingram. That gives them more time to get the best deal.”
