Watch: LeBron Speaks To Reporters For First Time After Injury

LeBron James is not the type of player that gets injured on the basketball court. We have heard fans saying that he is a cyborg. LeBron played in each and every game last season, and did not miss a game in the regular season. King James has a legendary durability, but something changed in the Lakers’ game against the Golden State Warriors. He slipped in the third quarter of the match, and hurt his groin. The injury got him limping off of the court. Cameras caught LeBron saying he heard a ‘pop,’ and that’s not the best thing you can hear regarding a lower body injury.

Nobody expected this. It was the worst scenario Lakers fans could have imagined. Injury is not something you mention in the same sentence with the king of basketball. The Lakers rely heavily on him, and no “popping” is acceptable. LeBron is optimistic about the whole thing, and will wait for his MRI. However, he is still happy with the way his teammates closed the game.

LeBron talked to media members, saying he is having an MRI. He feels really good, and will probably suit up for Thursday’s game. The Lakers defeated the Warriors, and fans could not be happier.

“The Lakers say LeBron James will not return to today’s game. James’ timeline for recovery is considered day to day at this point, according to a league source. However, he will receive a MRI which will give a clearer picture of the extent of the injury,” Dave McMenamin tweeted.

The Lakers will probably be really careful with him, and there is also a possibility that he misses a game or two.

LeBron slipped, and that can happen to every basketball player. He played in so many games, and he can slip once in a while. It’s a normal thing, right?
