Stephen Curry Offers Groin Injury Advice To LeBron James

Christmas Day was not the happiest day for LeBron James as he suffered a groin injury. The Los Angeles Lakers confirmed that LeBron is day-to-day, but Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has something else to say.

Steph believes that it could be at least closer to a week before the king hits the court again. The point guard also suffered a groin injury in the Nov. 8 game against the Milwaukee Bucks, and missed 11 games. Curry talked to The Undefeated’s Marc J. Spears, and shared his story.

“You got to take those first four or five days, that was what my experience was, to make sure you don’t do any more damage. You have to let the healing process start. That is one you can’t really rush. That is how I felt because it was such a delicate area,” he said.

“The biggest frustration is that you get to a point where you are pain-free but you still have to be a little bit more cautious. I don’t know the severity [of LeBron’s injury], but becoming pain-free is just one step. And then you have to ramp up your load on the court to make sure everything you do won’t set you back. That is the one thing that you can’t afford with that injury, is to keep reinjuring it.”

We know that many would love to see LeBron out of the court for a while.

Curry said that he does not know much about LeBron’s injury despite the fact that he was playing in the same game at the moment. The Warrior also said that King James was remarkably resilient through his professional career, and missed more than sever games in a season in 2014-15. That’s all. LeBron missed two weeks and eight games due to knee and back injuries back then.
