Devin McCourty Reveals Major Change In Rob Gronkowski’s Workout

The fun-loving Rob Gronkowski will turn 30 next year, and he is all mature now. Well, it is not like Gronk was an immature kid, but he was more into having fun. According to Patriots safety Devin McCourty, Gronk is a mature person now.

McCourty and Gronk have been on the same team since they entered the NFL together in 2010. The safety witnessed Gronk’s personal growth, and opened up about his teammate. If you ask McCourty, he will say that the tight end is not as “meathead” as he used to be back in the time.

McCourty talked about Gronk’s workout and the habits he had many years ago.

“When he was young, he was always in the weight room, always lifting the heaviest weights – like he was a big meathead. So, he’ll probably say he does less meathead things and more functional movement and things like that,” he said.

Gronk worked on his sense of perspective in the past few years. During his press conference, the tight end was asked questions about his future and his retirement. Well, he has been getting all these questions throughout the entire season and the offseason, too.

“I love the grind. I’m all-in. I’ve been all-in all season, whether it’s been up or down. And I’m going to tell you this right now: I’m going to be all-in for the rest of the year, no matter when it is, and that’s my main focus,” Gronkowski said.

“Yeah, you could have the physical tools and everything, but if you’re not mentally there all the way, then you’re not going to be able to use those physical tools how you want to use them. So definitely, you’ve just got to stay positive. You learn a lot of things every single year about yourself, as you get older, too, how you adapt to things…You can never get too down on yourself.
