Kyle Van Noy Sends Bold Message To Patriots Doubters After Clinch No. 2 Seed

The New England Patriots did not have their typical season, but the Week 17 sure looked like the games we are used to see. Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, Rob Gronkowski and the rest of the players claimed the first-round bye in the playoffs. Linebacker Kyle Van Noy was thrilled to see the team get this far.

I love this. This is good and this is everything to me. I love playing in the playoffs. Anytime you get a chance to play for a championship it is huge. There are other teams that are going home so you cannot take the wins for granted,” Kyle Van Noy said after the win over the Jets.

He also delivered a special message for anyone who thought that the New England Patriots will not make it this year.

“A lot of people think 11 and five is not good here, but the reality is it’s good enough to get the second seed and be in the playoffs so we are prepared for whatever and ready as a team.”

Van Noy’s fumble return touchdown marked the beginning of the end for the New York Jets and their chances of winning the game. The Patriots defense is really strong at this point, and they better keep doing the great job.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman is also happy with the results.

“I think we were balanced, we had good practice, and everyone made plays so when you get that combination good things happen. We started with a couple of penalties, we still got to work on things. We still got a long way to go because now, if you do those types of things you go home and you watch games,” he said.

Let’s hold our thumbs up for the Patriots. We do hope that they will prove haters wrong.
