Anthony Davis Makes A Decision On A Trade Request

The Anthony Davis trade is the hottest story of the 2018-19 season. Everyone has an idea for the New Orleans Pelicans star center, and top experts have worked on creating the ultimate scenario for Davis.

ESPN’s Zach Lowe reported that NBA teams believe that Anthony Davis is taking a series a short-term deals to make the same amount of money he would normally get when signing a supermax contract extension with his current team. Lowe also reported that Davis has not requested a trade out of the team.

“Davis has not yet told those close to him that he is dead set on the Lakers or any other specific team should he decide to leave, according to a source familiar with his thinking. He does not appear ready to demand a trade,” he wrote.

The league is so focused on Davis’ next move. There is a huge belief that the Pelicans would trade the star player if they are unable to reach an agreement during the offseason.

Lakers star LeBron James added fuel to the fire with his comments. When asked about the potential trade, King James said it would be “amazing” to play alongside Davis.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski also reported that general managers across the league are really upset with LeBron’s comments. This group tried to create an image in which LeBron is trying to push Davis into making a final decision and joining the Lakers.

Davis also did something to make people think that he is not planning to stay in New Orleans for too long. He signed with Rich Paul a couple of months ago. We all know that agent Paul represents many stars across the league, including LeBron James.

According to Lowe, the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics have the greatest chance of getting Davis on their roster.
