First And Amazing Look At Patriots AFC East Championship Gear

The New England Patriots are all ready for another AFC East championship. And yes, that championship gear is awesome.

The team defeated the Buffalo Bills for the tenth divisional crown, and they are actually the very first football team to accomplish that. The division title brings a brand new championship gear: a T-shirt and hat.

“Stephon Gilmore says it always feels good to put on AFC East championship hats and t-shirts, and he’s particularly happy for Jason McCourty to get his first division title,” Mike Reiss reported.

The Patriots had an excellent running game, and that’s how they won the game. The players rushed for 273 yards and a couple of touchdowns. Sony Michel was the greatest contributor to the game as he rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown.

Cordarrelle Patterson played great, too. He rushed for 66 yards on four carried. Receiver Julian Edelman is the top player for the team as he was able to catch six of his 10 targets for 70 yards and a touchdown.

“Well, always a great feeling to win the division. You have to give our players a lot of credit. It’s been a tough couple of weeks but they responded with a great week of preparation. I thought we played hard today against Buffalo that also played tough like they always do. They’re a well-coached team and they really make you work for everything. In the end, we were able to make enough plays in all three phases of the game. I thought our punt and punt return teams gave us a lot of good field position plays throughout the course of the game. Then we were able to run the ball fairly consistently, play pretty good defense. Those are all good things. It’s good to win, good to know that our season is going to extend a little bit here. It’s a good way to celebrate Christmas and then obviously be ready to go against the Jets. I mean, we know that’ll be difficult, too. That game will have some important meaning for us and them, so we’ll have to have a good week there. It’s good to enjoy this one for a day or so,” head coach Bill Belichick said after the big win.
