Klay Thompson Insults Lakers Ace When Reminded Of Past Incident

Some players can never forget an incident, and that shadow keeps following them throughout their career. Klay Thompson is one of them.

Klay Thompson called LeBron James an idiot for something that happened two years ago. He is ready to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. The teams are challenging each other in the NBA Finals for four years in a row, but the Cavaliers have hard time inning without LeBron James.

In 2016, the king had a Halloween party, and he arranged two tombstone-like cookies on the desert table. The cookies read ‘Stephen Curry 2015-2016’ and ‘Klay Thompson 2015-2016.’ Yes, it was related to the Cavaliers’ win of the Championship.

However, the Golden State Warriors managed to revenge in the last couple of Finals and Thompson still remembers the “joke.”

“Oh, year. Ha! That was funny. Look how that turned out. Psssh. Bums. That was crazy. I forgot about that. Well, look at what pettiness gets you. Gets you 1-8 in the Finals. Idiots,” he said.

Thompson also talked about the daily routine that keeps him this strong on the basketball court.

“Uh not really, it’s pretty routine. The one thing I always have to do that I don’t truly enjoy until it’s done. I get my pool as cold as possible, and before I do anything in the morning I try and roll out of bed and jump in the pool, just to jump start and wake me up.”

“Get me alive and well to start the day. I started doing that about a year ago and it works so well for me that I still do it. It sucks at first, because being cold isn’t fun, but afterwards you feel great. I can’t do cold showers though, cold water? A plunge? For sure,” Thompson said.
