Lakers Coach Sends Bombshell Message To Team About LeBron’s Injury

LeBron James is getting better, and he is still trying to recover from the groin strain he suffered in the game against the Golden State Warriors. King James had to leave the game, and the team still managed to win the game 127-101. Head coach Luke Walton talked about LeBron’s injury, and we have a closer look at things withing the organization.

Head coach Walton is not concerned about the upcoming games despite the fact that the Lakers will play without the star player. ESPN predicts that LeBron will miss a few games due to his injury. LeBron’s rival, Steph Curry, supported the player.

“You got to take those first four or five days, that was what my experience was, to make sure you don’t do any more damage. You have to let the healing process start. That is one you can’t really rush,” Curry said.

Walton, on the other hand, believes he has nothing to worry about.

Rajon Rondo is out of the court, too, but Walton keeps insisting that he trusts the young core.

“I know we can get through it,” he said.

“I know it’s not going to be easy, but I know and believe in the guys that we have. I thought at Sacramento [vs the Kings] we played a game on the road against a good team that we should’ve won. On Friday we had a 10-point lead late in the third. I know that’s not winning, but I believe the team we have can get it done. We just have to do a couple things a little bit better.”

The Lakers are playing the Sacramento Kings on Sunday and that’s their final game in 2018. The teams are meeting for the second time in three days. Sacramento defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 116-116 on Thursday night.
