LeBron James Made Bold Admission To Lakers Team-mates After Dallas Mavericks Win

LeBron James is a brilliant athlete, and he is never afraid to make an admission when necessary.

The king of basketball decided to take full responsibility for the Lakers slow start to the game against the Dallas Mavericks. He made the admission after the game, and took responsibility as his side trailed 32-22 in the second quarter of the game. What did he do next? LeBron helped the team win the game 114-103.

LeBron scored 28 points and brought the Lakers to the sixth position in the Western Conference.

“I was horrendous in the first quarter and I told my team it was all my wrong doing,” James said.

“Four turnovers and I wasn’t as engaged as I should have been. It resulted us in not having a good first quarter at all. You take responsibility and then you reload. You hit the reset button and I am my own biggest critic. I know the first quarter I had and it resulted in us playing poor basketball. I hit the reset button and knew I would be much better when I got back in the game. Back-to-back home games doesn’t happen very often,” he said.

The team managed to make it in this game after its 104-96 win against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday.

“I haven’t been part of many in my career and I can’t remember if I have even had one. We got out of here late last night and less than 24 hours we had to be back and ready to go. It is another mental challenge for us and we had to overcome that.”

The Lakers are holding well onto their wins, and they are still trying to play even better than before. The team made a few changes, and each of these came at the right time.
