LeBron James Passes Kobe Bryant And Jason Kidd In Bold NBA Record

Kobe Bryant’s fans may not think that LeBron James is the best player to join the Los Angeles Lakers. However, LeBron has just passed Kobe Bryant and Jason Kidd for most triple-doubles by a player in the 16th NBA season or later, as confirmed by Elias Sports Bureau.

In the Lakers’ 112-104 win over the New Orleans Pelicans, LeBron recorded his third triple-double and finished the game with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 assists in his 39 minutes on the court. LeBron’s first two-triple doubles of the year happened against the Denver Nuggets (28 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists) and Charlotte Hornets (24 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists). So, yes, he passed Bryant and Kidd.

In his 32 games of the 2018-19 season, there were three instances where LeBron was a rebound or an assist away from having a triple-double. He is 32, but does not even think of slowing down, and yes, the king is playing his best basketball at the moment.

In his first season with the Lakers, LeBron averages 27.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.2 assists while being activr 35.0 minutes pet match.

LeBron keeps climbing the league’s all-time scoring list. He passed Dirk Nowitzki (31,195 points and counting) and Wilt Chamberlain (31,419) in the season, he is also given a chance to pass Michael Jordan (32,292) for fourth when the Los Angeles Lakers confront the Chicago Bulls.

LeBron has 50 more games to add to the new triple-double record, Bryant (2014-15,2012-13) and Kidd (2010-11,2009-10) finished with a couple in their seasons.
