LeBron James’ Team-Mate To End Hopes Of Saturday Trade Deal

The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James are still caught up in the middle of every trade deal so far. The team is hunting stars down, and they will definitely add another big name next summer. But, latest reports confirm that LeBron will probably play without Trevor Ariza.

Many said the Phoenix Suns star is making his way to Los Angeles this weekend. But, the player who was told to go in the opposite direction has a few teams asking for his services. What happens with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope? The Athletic reported that the Houston Rockets are going to sign the Laker. The Philadelphia 76ers are also interested in his cervices. They got Jimmy Butler, but that does not mean a thing.

Caldwell-Pope is more focused on his current career with the Lakers.

“No. I’m just focused on teammates. I’m playing here now,” Caldwell-Pope said after the team’s win over the Heat.
Leigh Ellis said that Ariza is still joining the Lakers. “It’s hard to see what the downside is for the Lakers,” he said while speaking on the NBA podcast ‘The Starters.’

“If he costs them KCP and some sort of future second round pick, do it. The Lakers, this isn’t a season where they just want to sort of do okay. They want to really contend. And the West outside of the Warriors is kind of open right now. Ariza is a veteran, he’s been there, he’s won a championship, they know what they’re getting. Why would you not get him if you’re the Lakers?” he added.

LeBron and the Lakers are 17-10 at this point of the season and they are playing really hard to get a position in the playoffs.

The team is fifth in the Western Conference, and is playing the Houston Rockets on Friday. Will they fight again?
